It was a good time. But that all aside I realized something.
Rock n' Roll can infiltrate the soul. And I don't say that to rhyme. It really can. I realized this as I was sitting there rocking along to the music when I looked over and saw this old man just dancing. He wasn't dancing with anybody, he was by himself. But he was dancing nonetheless. And not really dancing, but some sort of sporadic twitching. It just made me think, "Wow, this guy is closing his eyes and he is back in his high school gym back in 1950 or whatever year he was there. And he was just having a grand old time. I just thought it was cool and hoped that I might be able to find something that just takes me back and the sound/sight/smell/taste/touch of it.
And then he started acting like a drunk old man and I thought, well there goes that inspirational image. But oh well, I am going to keep acting like he was inspirational.
Oh and you all should of been there last night. If you want to go to a show:
